The dangers of using instant messaging at work (How you can avoid them)

A company called “International Business Machines Corp.” uses a software for instant-messaging within the company. This software is called Lotus IM and has 11 million users. This software has turned out to be second nature as an approach to interact among associates. The company’s 300,000 users send between three million and five million texts a day. According to Ken Bisconti, this helps reduce travel time/expense and long-distance phones calls.

Keep texts, and also messages and other office correspondences, to business matters. You can set your texting to tell your associates that despite the fact that you may be online you're busy. It's a smart thought to sift through companions while you're working. Additionally, be clear about what sorts of messages truly should be sent in a split second, misusing these communication forms can tell your associates/coworkers that you are not so good at managing/prioritizing projects.
